WILLIAM L. ROSOFF
William Rosoff is the managing partner of the Beijing office of Akin Gump Hauer & Feld. He is an adjunct professor at TsinghuaUniversity Law School and the University of International Business and Economics Law School. He also serves as the General Counsel of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People’sRepublic of China.
Prior to coming to China seven years ago, Rosoff was a partner at the US law firms, Davis Polk and Wardwell and O’Melveny and Myers. He also served as Senior VicePresident and General Counsel of RJR-Nabisco, Inc. and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Marsh and McLennan Companies.
Rosoff received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard law school. He also has a Ph.D. in history from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.A. from Columbia College.
